As I lived there since my childhood I experienced lot of places. India is a country with 28 states and 8 union territories governed by President.
It is also renowned for its exquisite festivals throughout the year which makes people always curious to get ready for the next one. Some of the famous and widely celebrated festivals are Diwali (festival of lights), Holi (festival of colours), Uttarayan (festival of kites) and many more.
There are many places to travel depending on the peoples interests like to experience cold weather and hilly areas best place to visit is in North Indian states like Uttarakhand, Himachasl Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir. For experiencing the culture and royalty of kings you can visit Rajasthan and Gujarat. For beaches you can visit Goa beach, Diu & Daman beach. For trekking the best place could be in the state of uttrakhand.

The budget cost in India is very affordable for most of the tourists.
